Can't Stop the Serenity 2009 - Chicago

This year's Can't Stop the Serenity event will happen Saturday, August 29th at 6 p.m., at the Portage Theater, 4050 N. Milwaukee.

The invent will include a costume contest, door prizes and silent auctions. There will be a lot of Jossverse things for sale at the event as well as online before the event starts. The Portage WILL NOT be selling tickets before the 29th since the Chicago Browncoats are renting the theater for the event.

For more information contact the group's meetup page

In related news. the St. Louis Browncoats had to cancel their event due to print issues, and subsequently had to cancel the performance of fan group The Browncoats. A Browncoats video is posted below. It's shame they wont be gigging during a major event for the Browncoats.
